Other data set were acquired to fill in the gaps of the DLG coverage. All National Forests ownership (1:24,000) was integrated into the pub_own coverage also. The National Forests data took presedence over the USGS 1:100,000 boundaries and other boundaries EXCEPT for the State and SAA Boundaires. The USGS data and TIGER (SAA) data served as those boundary standards. No DLG data existed for Tennessee and only a small portion of Alabama, North Carolina, and Georgia was available. The State provided data in Tennessee included some very small holdings of TVA land. Furthermore, areas of federal land and state land were not captured.
