The information from the tape was loaded onto CH2M Hill's mainframe and then the data was downloaded to a personal computer. The data were then screened for missing values or duplicate entries for a particular facility (see CH2M Hill 1996). The file used was BJ_CO.ASC and this ASCII file was converted by Karl Hermann of the National Biological Service (Norris, Tennessee) to the Southern Appalchian Assessment Albers projection.
